Lectures Strike Posters

During the lecture strike, some of the comrades in the socialist party thought it would be a good idea for the society to make posters to bring awareness of the strike to the students of the campus. This was a design that I mocked up a few months ago.

I used Museo Sans, which was a font I found online that closely resembled the Museo Sans Round type that the Students Union use in their branding. The shade of red is a colour I want to use in the branding of the society next year.

The quote at the bottom is a motto that was used by the Industrial Workers of the World and has been used by a number of unions and labour organisations.

Since making this poster I have created another one that will be used during the Freshers' Fayre next academic year.
